This festive season, it’s all about celebrating with an Indian twist turning classic cocktails into a flavourful fiesta. Think vibrant spices, tangy fruits, and an unexpected zing that brings your celebrations to life with every sip.
So turn up the music, gather your crew, and shake things up!
Deep Purple
Smirnoff Minty Jamun, green apple syrup, lime juice, fresh mint leaves
Focus Spirit: Smirnoff Minty Jamun
Ingredients:
60 ml Smirnoff Minty Jamun
15 ml green apple syrup
15 ml lime juice
8 fresh mint leaves
Green apple slice, jamun slice, mint sprig (for garnish)
Method:
Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice to chill.
In a shaker, add Smirnoff Minty Jamun, green apple syrup, lime juice, and six mint leaves. Shake vigorously until well-chilled and aromatic.
Double strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
Garnish with a slice of green apple, a sprig of mint, and a slice of jamun.
Lightly press or slap the mint sprig before garnishing to release its fragrant oils.
Neembu Panna
Smirnoff Zesty Lime, lime juice, tamarind shikanji
Focus Spirit: Smirnoff Zesty Lime
Ingredients:
60 ml Smirnoff Zesty Lime
20 ml tamarind masala (Swa Tamarind Shikanji)
15 ml lime juice
½ green chilli
A pinch of black salt
Slice of green chilli and dehydrated lime (for garnish)
Method:
Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice to chill.
In a shaker, place half a green chilli and pour in the tamarind masala. Muddle gently, avoid over-muddling to prevent excessive heat or bitterness.
Add Smirnoff Zesty Lime, lime juice, and ice. Shake strongly until well-chilled and the flavours are infused.
Strain the cocktail to remove chilli bits and pulp.
Garnish with a thin slice of green chilli and a dehydrated lime slice.
For an extra smoky aroma, briefly torch the green chilli before garnishing.
Moscow Mule
Smirnoff No. 21, lime juice, ginger beer
Focus Spirit: Smirnoff No. 21
Ingredients:
50 ml Smirnoff No. 21
15 ml lime juice
130 ml ginger beer
Lime wheel, mint sprig (for garnish)
Method:
Fill a copper mug with cubed ice.
Add Smirnoff No. 21, lime juice, and ginger beer.
Stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of fresh mint.
Cafe Couture
Ingredients:
45–50 ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
20 ml espresso
20 ml Monin strawberry syrup
150 ml Tanqueray Classic Tonic
Method:
Add all ingredients into a glass with an ice slab or cubes.
Stir and serve chilled.
Style: Build-up
Glassware: Footed pilsner, fancy Collins, or highball glass
Garnish: Heart-shaped strawberry slice
Midnight Chemistry
Ingredients:
45–50 ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
40 ml blue pea tea brew (1 g tea buds with 60 ml hot water)
5 ml fresh lime juice
¼ tsp gold edible glitter (optional)
150 ml Tanqueray Classic Tonic
Note: For a colour-change effect, add the lime juice and tonic at the end to witness the transformation.
Method:
Add all ingredients into a copa glass with an ice block or cubes.
Stir and serve chilled.
Style: Build-up
Garnish: Orange zest and mint sprig (or baby’s breath for a floral touch)
