On March 22, travel content creator Tanya Khanijow took to her Instagram handle to share her own Maasai Mara adventure, which had a special connection to Alia and Ranbir. Filled with stunning views and jaw-dropping adventures, the video has gone viral among fans on social media.
In her video, Tanya presented James, the same guide who accompanied Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on their iconic proposal. To make her experience even more memorable, Tanya went to the precise location where Ranbir proposed, making fans excited about her journey.
While sharing this video on social media, she captioned the post: “Who wants to go to Maasai Mara? Share this one with them (sic) Kenya makes for an amazing honeymoon destination, and this was my favourite of the three honeymoons that we went on lately.”

Tanya described how James’ expertise in the Safari increased the excitement. He made sure they ate amid amazing wildlife and showed them the best places. At the end of the video, James gave the group a hearty namaste, offering a heartfelt gesture.
Tanya further emphasised that the guide is the most important component of any safari since they assist in identifying and spotting the wildlife. She revealed that James joined them the entire time, making the trip remarkable yet safe.
James led the route, allowing them to get up close and personal with unique species and stunning views. He would plan picnics on picturesque mountains or take us to eat close to lions. She revealed that he would lead walking safaris along the river. He would add complexity to their excursion by explaining animal behaviour whenever they arrived at a sighting.
