Travis Kelce gushes about Taylor Swift and their romance in GQ interview

Travis Kelce only recently shared the first photos with Taylor Swift on his Instagram account, more than two years in to the couple’s relationship.

It appears now that he’s comfortable letting fans into behind-the-scenes of their romance, he isn’t stopping – speaking about his lady love in a new interview.

Appearing on the cover of the September issue of GQ magazine, the NFL star spoke about how normal the couple are away from the cameras.

”Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” he revealed.

“When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love. It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it’s as normal of … It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. It still happened very organically … When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.”

Kelce said the 35-year-old pair share common values and see the world in a similar way.

The Kansas City Chiefs star also said Swift shares many common values and traits with his mum, Donna Kelce.

“Their kindness, their genuineness, their ability to say hello to everyone in the room,” he told the US publication.

“Their ability to show love and support no matter what. And on top of that, their work ethic.”

The couple appear to be going from strength to strength in recent months.

They started dating in 2023 and since then have shown their support for each other’s careers.

The singer has been a regular fixture at his games, while the footballer has been a regular fixture at her concerts.

Now, for the first time, the couple will have their worlds collide as Swift appears on Kelce’s podcast New Heights today, to launch her new album The Life of a Showgirl.

Engagement and marriage rumours have swirled around the couple for the past year and this sort of public overlap of their careers as well as opening up about their relationship is only going to intensify those reports.

But, for now, the only thing this couple are announcing is details of Swift’s 12th studio album.
