This latest episode of The View would have certainly brought the Internet alive with reactions, were Alyssa Farah talking about the alleged cancer diagnosis of former President Joe Biden. Farah had laid out a range of different observations on modern dating, wedding guest etiquette, and suburban life-before moving into the frenzy that would be all-too-eagerly weighed in on with a debate on Biden’s health and lack of disclosure.

The prostate cancer diagnosis allegedly confirmed by one very routine medical report once again has critics chattering as to whether this affliction was long hidden away from the public. One commenter calling himself Gregg had wondered, “The way the whole thing is unfolding, millions of men getting a PSA test every year must now be asking if the cancer was going undetected in them since Biden, with only the best medical care, was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 in an instant. This is all about restoring the people to the confidence of medical screenings,” calling forth the disclosure of old PSA results for Biden.
The suspicion has grown. Libs of TikTok and one Kevin Dalton pointed out on Twitter that whereas medical records for ex-presidents like Trump, Obama, and Bush have been thrown open to the public, records pertaining to Biden have been quite scarce. Dalton further sarcastically insinuated that the 2021 report from Walter Reed Medical Center probably deliberately suppressed any mention of Biden’s cognitive decline or prostate complaints so that conspiracies would arise on cover-ups.
Deborah Leavey and other commentators said they were not siding with Biden, accusing him of selling out the country while questioning the worthiness of his medical practitioner. Meanwhile, John Kiger brought up immigration by saying it should not be equated with illegal border crossings, at least while the issue continues to divide public opinion.
Even The View got dragged into the fray. Liz Bourgeois insulted Farah for allegedly lying about her Republican credentials, while another declared the show “disgusting” and “not very lady-like” for taking these suburban gals seriously.
Some attempted to at least inject a little levity into the conversations: Michelle Mirelez dryly commented on Nancy Mace’s wedding appearances, while JDT cracked jokes about Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, the two senior-most co-hosts of the show.
And yet, the tension remains. Winnie The View may have rubbed the public the wrong way on at least one political topic: the health of Biden, immigration, and The View’s credibility.

What remains cemented still is anything from the lack of transparency that is Biden’s presidential medical records to political affiliations will remain contentious. And for The View, the gap between entertainment and political lightning rod has never been thinner.
