Influencer Ashley Surcombe in ICU After Being Found “Unconscious and Unresponsive” in South Korea
Friends and family are mourning the loss of South Korean actor Song Young-kyu.
The Extreme Job star was found unresponsive inside a parked car near Seoul, South Korea, by an acquaintance on August 4, local authorities confirmed to Variety. He was 55.
Police have since confirmed to the outlet that there were no signs of foul play and that no suicide note was found.
According to authorities, the car was parked in a residential complex in Cheoin-gu, Yougon, which is about 25 miles from Seoul. His body was found around 8 a.m. local time.
E! News has reached out to Song’s reps for comment but has not heard back.
Two months before his tragic passing, the Narco-Saints actor was involved in a DUI incident in which he drove about three miles with a blood-alcohol level above the limit to have his license revoked in South Korea, according to Variety. He was awaiting indictment at the time of his death.
