This very well was an explosive finale for Saturday Night Live – Jack Black, Elton John, Brandi Carlile, and one Mike Myers – and the buzz on the internet is coming just now. Many clapped their hands, but not all had great views of the marvelous performance.

Of course, it all began with Black whipping all his signature informed-terrific chaos: screeching out “God’ Country” like only he can — and his fans were there with moths open. “Jack Black is joy embodied,” said a fan. However, critics weren’t finished:” JB is a 🤡 Zero talent.” Ouch!
Followed by the famous Elton John, who made ’80s comebacks almost seem too easy, bringing his audience back in time. “Was that 2025 Elton John or 1975 Elton John last night??? OUTSTANDING!!” marveled one fan. Others however compared his… outrageous stage presence. “What was the deal with Elton’s snake movements?” queried a baffled viewed. Classic Elton, to be honest.
Comes in surprise Mike Myers, showing up exactly at when he demonstrates that famous “Elbows Up” skit from Wayne’s World to send crowds among Canadian fans into a frenzy. “Canadian Tire and Elbows Up!! Mike Myers!!🇨🇦” chirped a proud Canuck. “SNL has sucked for the last 30 years!!”, one disgruntled commenter grumbled. Tough crowd.
The structures political side of the show inspired high debates on different fronts. Delight was perfectly scarce. The music was fun!! The one-sided political views not. Later,” hooted a viewer. “Trash episode Saturday night leftist at it again,” beamed another. Meanwhile, one arts advocate had, “Support the arts before they disappear. Support the comedians, actors, singers, and the writers: A society without the arts is dark and dreary. preach.
Worst line goes to: “SNL clips aren’t even that funny. Watching snails crawl is more entertaining. Shut it down already.” Damn. Someone’s getting a lump of coal from Lorne Michaels this year.

Contrasting reviews, though, can hardly set off that the episode was supposed to be a ratings breaker-an even better evidence, at that, that SNL still stirs up things with its fare. Will it change anything? Doubtful. But one thing’s for sure-everyone’s still talking about it whether they love it or hate it. When’s the last time a snail crawl could boast that kind of engagement?
