Simone Biles Makes Surprise Appearance With Husband Jonathan Owens at Winter Olympics
Simone Biles is marking another golden milestone.
The most decorated Olympic gymnast in history celebrated the grand opening of her restaurant Taste of Gold at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in her hometown of Houston, Texas, on March 25.
Simone shared a picture of her posing alongside her husband Jonathan Owens while holding a menu, captioning the March 26 Instagram post, “TASTE OF GOLD NOW OPEN IN IAH AIRPORT *Terminal A.”
The 29-year-old also posted a picture on Instagram Story, showing her standing under the restaurant’s banner. As a stunned Simone noted in her caption, “I can’t believe I have a freaking restaurant.”
For his part, Jonathan—who married Simone in 2023—marked the occasion by reposting the same image on his respective Instagram Story.
Taste of Gold features décor inspired by her Olympic achievements including a picture of her competing on the beam during one of her medal-winning Olympic appearances. As for the menu, the “Upscale café” features sandwiches, Tex-Mex style fare and Simone Skewers.
