The Canadian heartthrob took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote a sweet message declaring to believe him in the Portuguese language for Brazil. Within moments, the post went on to receive massive traction courtesy of thousands of likes and comments from fans.

“Como sempre Brasil, não existe lugar como você. eu te amo ♥️🇧🇷” Mendes was quoted as saying, which literally translates to “As always Brazil, there’s no place like you. I love you.” To accompany this lovely caption, he posted a video of himself having fun in the vibrant South American country.
The comment section turned into a storm with one declaring, “EU TE AMO TANTO💚,” while another added a funny note, “Também né, depois de ficar com a Bruna marquezine, até eu,” referring to Mendes’ brief romance with Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine.
Entertainment site @eric_chien summarized it all whimsically saying, “Me come então” (“Then eat me”). Brazilian fans never have their shy hearts in their sleeves when it comes to showing some love for their Canadian heartthrob!

This came just a few days after Mendes was in Brazil as part of a music festival during which the singer would showcase new music exclusively for his Brazilian fans. Reports are that at some time during the performance, he even removed his shirt as the crowd screamed.
