And because of all these, Senate Democrats went hard on Republicans when they said those tariffs of Trump’s times drove the economy into doom. “What they’re doing is just that,” they quoted Warren on some late-night fiery tweet casting accusations towards the Republicans for defying Americans in their stride by taking votes to end what they claimed was a “fake emergency” that justified such tariffs. Immediately, the tweet sparked a firestorm criticism, approval, and just pure commotion in the replies.

This was framed into an economic time bomb with the tariffs, declaring: “They’ve done things pretty much like an ‘on again, off again, red light, green light’ sort of thing”. But, going by the responses, it seems a lot of people are not believing that one. Insults flew like anything, and the thread turned into an all-out war. One P M went to the extent of not mincing his words, stating that “THIEF,” “TRAITOR” should be bolded before demanding her resignation from office. Another like Joyce Elaine rebutted, “Why do Democrats hate Americans so much?”.
Then, there were conspiracy theories. User sortazona threw some wild allegations about school assaults being “covered up” by liberals; the other, Carolyn Way, simply went for the jugular with, “Just piss off grifting fake Indian.” Yeah, it got pretty personal, very quick. But, not all were answer filled with madness; some actually came along with policy concerns like RTK, whose comment suggested taxes reforms in need for corporations and the billionaires. So unfortunate it all got drowned under that avalanche of caps-locked rants and memes.
A ton of pro Trump fans answered the fray too. AZMAGA posted laughing emojis boasting of their coverage of “radical left JIHADIST meltdowns,” while Glenn Stewart just tweeted out: “Hey, you fucking lost…😁😁😁😂😂😂😅😅😂😂😁😁.” Subtle. On the flip side, Doris Lederman cheered for Warren to “run for president!! vote blue🗳️.”
But actually kind of crazy? A comment by Mila Joy dropped a bombshell that Warren took more than $10 million from big pharma, “huge conflict of interest.” Rightly or wrongly, that really added fuel to the fire. And then comes Rick Hernandez, claiming that both parties are just grifting while the house burns. Depressing but not wrong, right?

The reply to the tweet has now turned out pretty much into a huge smackdown. Half pure vitriol, rest trolls, or trying (and failing) to have an actual debate. It’s pretty obvious: this tariff fight is not going to be just an economic one; it is just an additional argument, really, in the continue culture war. And judging from the replies, no one is backing down anytime soon.
