Russell Brand has just made violent cosmic pronouncements on the Israel-Palestine conflict on X and gave a nasty smack on the backside of furious replies piling on the erstwhile comments faster than anybody could say “fix yourself a drink, and let’s talk about the geopolitical mess.”

“I think killing somebody because of their race is immoral,” Brand began, then added, “but I do think it is possible for Israel to have a homeland that is preserved and observed in peace,” which wagged his prayer for “the cessation of all deep state violence” along with mentions of all the said nations: Israel, Britain, France, and China.
Cue the intervention of logic.
Then on became the replies that were straight into a battlefield, in which Russell Cronin stated: “If eh abhors state violence, he should condemn Israel[…]but @rustyrockets can’t ’cause he is on Uncle Satan’s side.” Whoa, tell us how you really feel!
Dopos do not mince words with Denise L. Perrault: “So sick of Netanyahu & Putin, the corrupt criminals.” You go, girl!
But hold there! Tarheel Jon came in: “Gaza started the war…I am for totally wiping out Hamas as they are a bloodthirsty terrorist organization.” To which Russell Cronin (again!) said: “Yanks don’t really do irony, do you?” I mean, that sass; that drama!
Some supporters tried to maintain civility. Miguel Concha tweeted: “World peace please 🙏 God bless you Russell 🙏” How sweet.
But then the wild cards entered, with 2cool4skool69 going personal: “Russel the little nonce heroine addict you look like one of them.” Ouch! Carolin38726365 went full-on conspiracy: “You’re a charlatan still the wolf in sleeps clothing! Once a Fabian always a Fabian!” Well, okay, then.
Kelynme had a spiritual take with a warning: “Replacement theology is demonic & all who practice will answer to Jesus on judgement day.” That certainly packs a punch for Tuesday afternoon!
Russell Brand, another unpredictable politically irritated know-it-all, appears to have touched another nerve. In any case, one point is never in doubt; when Russell tweets, the world listens. And argues. And finger-points.

What do you say? Is Brand a straight shooter, truly condemning the powers that be, or is he simply stirring the pot? And more importantly, who had “Russell Brand Middle East hot takes” on their 2024 bingo card?
