Actress Vanessa Morgan is engaged again, more than four years on from her divorce.
Morgan, best known for starring as Toni Topaz on the teen drama series Riverdale, said “yes” to her partner James Karnik days before Christmas.
Morgan, 32, shares a five-month-old daughter with the basketballer.

“Merry Christmas Eve from me and my fiancée 😭💍🎁” the star announced the news to Instagram with photos of the pair under a lit-up structure for a very festive proposal.
Morgan showed off the diamond ring sitting on her finger while embracing her fiancé.
The star confirmed to People they got engaged at the Langley Glow Light Festival in Canada on December 21.
The actress shared a cute follow-up selfie taken with Karnik after they got engaged.

“This relationship is a testimony to the blessings God brings when you fully surrender and trust in his perfect timing,” she captioned the pic.
“I’m so grateful to get to experience this kind of love in this lifetime”.
Morgan was congratulated by many stars, including several of her Riverdale castmates.
“Congratulations, my love 🍾❤️” Lili Reinhart, who played Betty on the series wrote.
“May I shed a tear,” Drew Tanner, who played Morgan’s on-screen husband Fangs, wrote.
In a second message, he said: ”So happy for you V!!!”

Casey Cott, who played Kevin Keller, commented three red heart emojis to celebrate.
Karnik proposed with a diamond ring from jeweller Brilliant Earth, which Morgan revealed had a special connection to her.
“I told James my dream as a little girl was to have butterflies on my engagement ring, since my name means butterfly and I have two butterfly tattoos, so he looked into getting a custom ring made,” she revealed on her Instagram story.
The ring features six butterflies with two made in blue diamonds, which is Morgan’s birthstone.

Morgan and Karnik reportedly began dating in 2022.
In August, they announced they had welcomed their first child together, daughter Kaia Autumn Skye, who was born in July.
Morgan also shares a three-year-old son, River, with her ex-husband Michael Kopech.
The actress was married to baseball pitcher Kopech for just six months. They tied the knot in January 2020.
Kopech filed for divorce in July, just days after Morgan announced she was pregnant.

Star engaged 22 years after high-profile divorce
The actress shared she was expecting a boy with photos and videos from a party with her family and friends, which Kopech was not present in.
“This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!!” she wrote at the time.
Morgan welcomed her son River in January 2021.
