Nicole Kidman has not let her divorce proceedings interfere with her career.
While highly publicised splits might hold a reputation for derailing life plans, Kidman has had no issue juggling her projects while dealing with the breakdown of her marriage.
Kidman, 58, has landed a whopping nine roles in the past 18 months, with the actress undertaking some amid her break-up with Keith Urban in September.
The actress is still dominating in both film and TV, proving that the best revenge is living well and keeping busy.
Earlier this week, Kidman attended the premiere for the latest project, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, which she starred in opposite Elle Fanning.
She also starred in the American thriller series Scarpetta, released earlier this year.
Last year, she landed a role in the film Holland, as well as Netflix mystery show The Perfect Couple.
She is also starring in four upcoming projects, including: Girls and Their Horses, Discretion, The Young People and the sequel to Practical Magic, Practical Magic 2.
Kidman also starred in the 2024 film Babygirl with Haris Dickinson, as well as the animated film, Spellbound.
On top of all that, she’s also filming the new season of HBO’s Big Little Lies with Reese Witherspoon, and her Paramount+ show Lioness, produced by Taylor Sheridan and Blake Shelton, has been renewed for a third season.
However, her hectic schedule is apparently one reason for the breakdown of her 19-year marriage with the country music star.
At the 2025 Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser poked fun at the actress and her thriving career.
“Thank you to Keith Urban for playing the guitar so much that she wants to leave and make 18 movies a year. Keep strumming you kooky koala,” she said.
Kidman was the one to officially file for divorce, with the papers citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the break-up.
According to court documents obtained by People, the former couple agreed to a parenting plan.
It’s reported Urban moved out of the family home in Nashville, with Kidman and their daughters remaining.
The actress sat down with Variety for a wide-ranging interview and while she spoke about the Practical Magic sequel and Prime Video series Scarpetta, she also addressed her personal life.
“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” the actress told the publication when asked if she was “doing all right” in the months following their split.
“What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.
“Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family’, and that’s what we’ll continue to be.”
