Cha-Cha dancer and producer Nick Cannon treated the worldwide fans to a very funny video on social media in which he whimsically utters that he hates his boss. Loaning some moments of play at work to Pons, a very demanding employer with absurd orders, no lunch breaks were allowed. This very hilarious Instagram clip truly shows a comedic side of Cannon, as well as his dynamics with other creatives.

And suddenly, Cannon dropped his brand-new video. It surely might have been one of the crazies, really just a bit chaotic; chaos they say is his trademark. Lele Pons stars as the boss from hell in a short ridiculous sketch. The caption in the post reads: “When you hate your boss @lelepons),” a feeling most people could relate to.
Nick’s wardrobe screamed club vibe, but the work orders he was taking could have made anything quite different. Lele Pons, as the boss, meant business and was barking orders left and right: “Are you getting everything done like I asked you to?” She didn’t even wait for an answer. Cannon, playing the exhausted worker, just nodded. “Of course, boss.”
And the comedy just got richer! “No lunch break. We don’t need to eat.” And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, the one-two punch of “We’re working through the holidays” was delivered. All of this is happening to the beats of a catchy tune, only adding to the silliness. These two were obviously more serious about the fun.
The funniest and most interesting moments were, in fact, in the comment section. People started reminiscing about the skit. One comments, “Work and then work 😂😂😂😂,” pretty much summing the whole sentiment. Another one chimed, “Literally me on Monday 😭🤣 I work for a chiropractor #prayers.” How they just capture that shared anxiety of the workweek, yet Cannon and Pons made it hilarious.
Then it went downhill hilariously. Someone says, “Nah call all his baby mommas and tell him he canceled all the child support then resign 😂😂😂😂.” It’s a pretty risky and cheeky nod to Cannon’s very public personal life and grabbed a lot of attention. It’s one of those replies that’s like an addictive joke: half hilarious and half just too real.
“Another user gave another turn: ‘Mr Cannon, now when is @nicolasvans coming on the show? I’ve been watching, waiting, y’all had a deal remember?’” It’s a subtle reminder that Cannon’s audience are all watching him constantly, waiting for follow-ups on promises and collaborations.
And then love comes out loud through all the jokes. “I will never never never hate you Boss😂😂🔥❤️😍,” declared one fan, showing that even if Cannon is playing this work-stressed-out employee, his real-life charm wins people over. Another saw things a little further: “Nick is the new Tyler Perry.” That’s a rare and somewhat peculiar compliment to rank Cannon’s hustle and multifaceted career next to Perry’s empire.

Nick Cannon has always mixed humor with relatability. Be it his hosting or acting chops, he just knows how to reach the larger audience. This one with Lele Pons is a no-different scenario. A fast-paced funny clip sparks conversation and laughter while serving as a mirror upon their own working lives. And, at the end of the day, this is that typical example of Nick Cannon staying relevant by staying light, collaborative, and entertaining.
