With his new single ‘SKITTLES’, Matt Terry has served up a delicious dose of pop that is impossible to resist. The vibrant track, which is bursting with energy, is candy to the ears and it knows exactly how to hit the sweet spot.
Matt crafted ‘SKITTLES’ as a playful way to reflect on his first experiences dating men. After coming out and embracing his true colours, the former X Factor winner is living life to the fullest. He co-wrote the catchy song with Jack Champion Morgan and Sean Poole.
Speaking about the inspiration for his new single, Matt Terry said: “Because I came out a little later in life, I had no experience when it came to dating other guys. It was something that I was very insecure about. I felt like people I dated or came across had already, here’s the metaphor, tasted the rainbow and I was just a skittle on the tip of their tongue. Just another skittle out of the packet. I really struggled with that. Obviously that is very different today but back then I struggled so that is what this song is about and I really hope you like it.“
‘SKITTLES’ is available here on all digital platforms and it has all the ingredients of a smash hit. The track follows ‘SUPERGLUE!‘ and it serves as the second single to be lifted from Matt’s forthcoming ‘Party In My Room’ EP which is scheduled for release on the 22nd May.
