Luke Bryan Shares His Love For American Idol Gig

    -

Country King Luke Bryan just posted a phenomenal tweet, leaving many people talking about it through the day, and honestly? It is just the kind of humble bragging we can pretty much identify ourselves with. The guy shared a simple but weighty message saying, “Not an easy job-but I’m sure glad I get to do it #idol,” with a photo-most probably most of his followers hit the like button even before finishing reading it. It’s just so typically Luke, keeping it real while reminding everyone he lives the dream.

So what else is new? For the few people under the rock, Luke has been judging American Idol with Lionel Richie and Katy Perry for a while now, trying to keep a cowboy tie around him for a while. Feedback shows people love it. Cheryl hit him back with a classic Getter done #idol which is peak supportive fan energy. Now Maridee is in with immediate and sweet just saying, ‘You’regreat at it.’ Strictly fact, no fluff.

But not everyone praised. One classic hit was from Wanda Putman, who has said, ‘I’m Glad to luke,’ which…okay either a typo or playing some next-level wordplay here. Let’s assume the latter because why not? Then it got spicy when Ohio State Buckeye (some serious butcher on the username) rolled into the reply thread with an entire suggestion box. They’re actually pitching that Luke cover Lionel Richie’s Stuck On You to ‘forever seal their friendship.’ Bold move. Risky. But honestly? We would watch that.

That Sherry Kreiger hit would bring the fire as well, calling Luke ‘BEST judge’ and thanking him for saving contestant Amanda. That’s loyalty that one only sees in reality TV fandoms. But then again… there is always that one person. User ShowtimeRHEC decided to hit Luke with, ‘If Butthead and Elvis had a kid.’ Random chaos. No context. No explanation. And honestly? That’s exactly the kind of crazy commentary that makes Twitter worth scrolling through.

Still, like in Luke’s simplest tweet possible, the replies are a whole mood everything from wholesome support to utterly random roasts leaving one clear in concluding that people really do have thoughts about his Idol gig. And to be honest? He’s probably gotten used to it a long time ago. The dude’s spent in the spotlight long enough to know that putting it all out there will reap plenty of love, weird suggestions, and occasion odd comparison.

Then again, it is obvious that Luke is utterly relishing this insane ride. He judges singers and drops a few country hits or socializes through Twitter, all on his own, doing all things his way. And if that includes taking a little bit of ‘Butthead and Elvis’ here and there? Well, that’s just part of it. Keep on keeping it real, Luke; the internet wouldn’t be the same without it.
