Andy Cohen, who was a close friend of Liam Neeson’s late wife, actress Natasha Richardson, has publicly supported the budding relationship between the actor and Pamela Anderson.
Neeson and Anderson star alongside each other in their new film The Naked Gun, where their flirtationship seemingly sparked on set.
While nothing has been publicly confirmed by either actor, Cohen took it upon himself to announce his support of the pair on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live.

“Natasha was a dear friend of mine and I’m gonna tell you something. I and all of the friends in this circle are very much stanning whatever this is,” Cohen said.
Neeson was married to Richardson from 1994 until 2009, when she died at 45 after a skiing accident.
The pair had two sons together. 
The radio host said he spoke to Neeson at the premiere party of the Naked Gun remake.

“I go, ‘Liam, she is an independent woman just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys,'” Cohen said.
“I mean, this just works, and you know, she is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is.
“What she’s been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself.”
Anderson had two sons with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

Cohen said it’s “been 16 years” since Richardson’s death, and Neeson has remained single in that time.
He agreed it’s time he had some companionship, as suggested by the guest on his radio show, Bevy Smith.
A source said to be close to the movie told People magazine Neeson and Anderson were dating on July 29.
A sit-down interview on US Today with the co-stars helped fuel the rumours after the pair were asked bluntly if “they were an item” by host Craig Melvin.

Anderson replied by asking “what?” before saying she didn’t understand the question, looking to Neeson to answer. 
The actor shook his head, acting disappointed before saying: “Craig, Craig…I had never met Pamela before, we met on set and we discovered we have a lovely budding chemistry as two actors.”
“And we were just like, ‘Oh, this is nice, let’s just let it breathe’, and that’s what we did.”
