Khloe Kardashian is facing backlash, once again, for making a statement about parenting. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, the Good American co-founder said that she is “exhausted” caring for her kids without a live-in nanny.
On the episode of the hit Hulu series, the 39-year-old is talking to her older sister, Kourtney, about doing everything for her two children by herself at night because she doesn’t have night nannies nor a partner to share the load with. In a confessional moment, Kardashian admitted that parenting, without assistance, is indeed is hard work.
“Every day after 8:30, when True’s asleep, I am, like, crawling,” Khloe said. “Like I’m Leonardo DiCaprio out of Wolf of Wall Street to my bed, like, how do I get there? Then you wake up again and you do it all.”
“And make the lunches. And I started with the cookie-cutter hearts, for the watermelon. Like, once you start the cute s— that you’re so excited to do, God forbid, you don’t. But it’s amazing. Like at the same time, it’s like all you want. It’s the weirdest thing. Because you’re exhausted and you’re like I’m I’m gonna die and then literally when they’re asleep by 10, I’m like I miss them. Like get it together Khloe, snap out of it.”
Kardashian also admitted to her sister that she may have to reconsider not having a night nanny or help.
“… I don’t have nannies at night, which I might have to change or at least have someone be available sometimes.”

The internet didn’t take too well to Khloe’s statements. And, they expressed their opinions loudly.
“Welcome to the real world,” one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, “But she has a nanny all day ….something most moms don’t have the luxury of.”
“Try that without any help plus a full-time job,” one user added.
Another X user sarcastically pointed out all the “help” that Khloe does have. “Just a chef, housekeeper, personal trainer. … Poor woman.”
Samuel on X quipped, in their Khloe voice, “Folks I’m exhausted but I have all these professional ppl on speed dial if needed boy what a rough life I have.”
This is not the first time that any of the Kardashians have met with backlash over attempting to present themselves as “normal” single parents. For many, the the juxtaposition of their luxury lifestyles vs. the daily grind of many who are barely making ends meet for themselves and their children, just doesn’t quite sit right with the masses.
