Katy Perry has posted a picture of her bloody knees after an accident on stage during her Lifetimes Tour.
Perry slides on her knees across the stage as part of the show’s choreography, which she usually nails.
But on Instagram, the singer has shared a picture of her bloodied knees and a text to her friend revealing she got hurt doing the staple move.

“It was a slide on my knees that usually makes them go ahhh and it just made me go arghh,” she said in a text.
The photo showed bruises and a cut on Perry’s knees, with her legs rested on the rim of a bathtub.
A video of the incident posted to Tiktok shows Perry going in for the slide, but she lands right on the tip of her knees before faceplanting into the stage.
It happened during a show in Arizona, US.

It’s not the first mishap to strike during Perry’s Lifetimes world tour.
Earlier this week, a fan collapsed on stage with the singer at a show in Detroit, Michigan.
Perry, 40, invited a number of fans from the audience to join her on stage to sing The One That Got Away.
As she organised the group for the performance, she noticed one fan named McKenna appeared to be struggling, breathing heavily as she tried to compose herself.

She then collapsed, with Perry very quickly dropping down next to her to make sure she was okay.
She also had a heart-stopping moment in San Francisco, when a part of her stage set malfunctioned, nearly jolting her off a floating butterfly.
Perry is currently touring North America and Canada as part of her Lifetimes Tour, which came to Australia earlier this year.
The picture of her bloodied knees was part of a gallery of photos as part of a life update.
One was a photo of her and Orlando Bloom’s daughter, Daisy.
The pair recently announced their split before Perry was seen out on a dinner date with the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
TMZ first reported the story on July 29, publishing photos and video of the Fireworks singer and the former Canadian Prime Minister enjoying a meal together at the Quebecois fine-dining establishment.

The former politician was then seen at her Montreal show the next day.
