Julianne Hough is one quickstep closer to possibly becoming a mom as she navigates her journey on her own terms.
The Dancing With the Stars cohost is giving fans a glimpse at her fertility preservation process, revealing that she recently had her eggs frozen for the third time.
“Here I am,” the 36-year-old said in a video shared on her Instagram June 7, “all in the name of having a little baby.”
Julianne, who was treated by a Los Angeles fertility doctor, included footage of herself injecting her stomach with hormones at home to stimulate her follicles to produce more eggs than would naturally develop, as well as a “trigger shot” to release them.
“Just woke up, hormones are kicking in, my boobs are getting bigger,” the dance pro said on day six, noting a common side effect of the fertility drugs. “Everything is happening.”
Another side effect of the IVF meds? Bloating.
“Look,” Julianne said, showcasing her bare midriff. “It’s like a little pregger belly. Cutie.”
