James Van Der Beek announced on his social media feeds that he is hosting screenings of Varsity Blues at three locations in Texas.
The caption on his post says:
“Varsity Blues” is one of those projects that’s stayed close to my heart. So let’s have some fun! Come watch it up on the big screen and make a night of it.

In the video, Van Der Beek goes on to say, “I’m gonna host the evening. We’ll do a little Q&A afterwards so gather up your fantasy football league, your old high school football team, your college football team – any team you used to watch that movie with on road trips on the bus. Have a little reunion or make it a date night.”
Three screenings are scheduled.
