Ice T, his wife Coco Austin, and their daughter Chanel Nicole hit up the red carpet at the premiere of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in the heart of New York City on Thursday, March 14. The trio posed for photos on the red carpet before catching the highly-anticipated flick.
Coco couldn’t contain her excitement, sharing snaps of their outing on Instagram. “Movie Premiere @ghostbusters #frozenempire. So cool I got to meet and touch The Ghostbuster car in person lol,” she wrote.
The day before the premiere, Ice T shared photos from parent-teacher day at Chanel’s school. In several snapshots, the trio could be seen posing with Chanel’s school project while beaming for the camera.
“Parent Day at school #2ndgrade #parentday,” Ice T captioned the heartwarming photos, where Coco and Chanel twinned in rosy-hued outfits while proud papa Ice leaned in for the shots.
The pictures garnered thousands of likes with fans noticing the striking resemblance between Chanel and her famous father.
One person wrote, “She’s twinning with Dad.”
Another exclaimed, “Beautiful family yeah she’s her daddy’s twin for sure beautiful beautiful …”
Other commenters commended the couple on their parenting skills and the evident happiness of their family.
A fan gushed, “You both are doing a great job raising Chanel…her character shines through the pictures you post.”
While Chanel holds a special place as Coco’s only child, Ice T has two adult children from previous relationships – daughter LeTesha Marrow, 47, and son Tracy Lauren Marrow, Jr., 32, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend and singer Darlene Ortiz.
In “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” the Spengler family returns to New York City to aid the original Ghostbusters in battling a new evil force unleashed by the discovery of an ancient artifact. Together, they must protect their home and prevent a second Ice Age.
