For all the good press, Frankie James Grande has decided to go to town with a fitness post that has set off waves of discussion. The 42-year-old entertainer posted a video of his serious gym stint and then flexing muscles while joking about having a ‘pop star body’ after serious workout sessions. The video shows him snapping in the moment, laughing, and doing some ridiculous workout moves while dressed in Mickey Mouse sweats which got auld comments.

In the caption, Grande thanked his coach Steven Durrance for guiding him through the whole process and also thanked his best buddy Dominica Crossey for riding this fitness saddle along with him. Then he jokingly went on to endorse his motivational song, “Boys in the Gym.” The madness in the chaos contains some actual workouts. It was banter mainly, with Grande just being wired straight at one point. He says, “I’m not talking to you anymore,” and then pivots to raise what appeared to be weights or props.
His fans, wishing him well for his youthful looks and good work ethic, went ballistic for the post. “Frankie I’m telling you when I first saw you I thought you were in your 20s! You still don’t look a day over 20!” exclaimed one user. Another said, “You slayed the game and our hearts! GO FRANKIE!!!” The Mickey Mouse sweatsuit caught some limelight undeservedly, with comments such as, “I love your Mickey Mouse sweat suit!!”
Not all were one hundred percent earnest, though. One from the crowd read: “awesomeness! jane Fonda…sexy…haha omg…show us your hole.” A random tirade sitting out among all the warm support. Then there was a more really critical statement: “I miss your Non Plastic Body,” although it doesn’t really clear what it means to be.”
Grande’s fitness journey certainly was a very good premise for his ongoing self-growth and self-care routine. At 42 years, he stands as a great example of the adage of age standing as just number for anyone who wants to remain fit and lively. Grande fitness seems to work with fun in mind as one of the goals of it all, along with getting physically fit, judging from the lighthearted feel of the presentation. A motivating video filled with laughter, great vibes, and Grande’s biting one-liners.
The entertainer has never been at a loss in terms of showing his followers the raw side of his life and his ongoing journey. This post goes along with this tradition by showing that the pursuit of fitness goals can also be a whole lot of fun. Other stars might now parade their cool workouts to the beat of dead seriousness; Grande does so in an almost oppositional manner that tells us it’s completely okay to mix hard work with lots of fun. And that goes a long way toward the post’s success-the fact that he can laugh at, and with, himself.

His fans adore his devotion and personality, as evidenced by the comments. The encouraging affirmations interspersed with humorous banter breathed life into what very well could have turned into just another sterile celebrity-liked workout post. Thus became their shared moment of connection and at least one reason why he has such a huge dedicated fan base. Whether motivating others to actually get down to doing some workout sessions or just lifting someone’s spirits with his antics, Grande’s post was far more than “Look at my physique.” It was about Grande the person.
