Florence Pugh is one of our favorite fun, talented, and unproblematic young Hollywood stars. And, in the past, she’s talked about the struggles of finding love — particularly as a famous person.
For a refresher on her love life, Florence was in a public and pretty divisive relationship with Zach Braff for about 3 years. They broke up in 2022, and last year, she revealed that she’s dated two people since then, with one of those relationships ending with a “scary” breakup that forced her to re-evaluate her approach to dating.
“I’m more sympathetic to the people who are in love with me, because it’s not easy!” she told Harper’s Bazaar about a year ago. “I’m tricky — I’m always busy, I can never make dates. But it’s not good enough for me to ask someone to just accept that. I’ll just end up alone. I don’t want that — I want a family.”
Well, with all that in mind, people are thrilled to see that Florence just went Instagram official with her boyfriend, Finn Cole, posting a sweet photo of the two of them together at a Bvlgari event in Milan this week.
If you’re not already familiar, Finn — just like Flo — is a 30-year-old British actor. He’s probably best known for his role as Michael Gray in Peaky Blinders, and more recently, he appeared in Last Breath alongside Woody Harrelson and Simu Liu.
This marks the first time that Florence has ever posted Finn on her IG page, but that doesn’t mean this relationship is new. In actual fact, Flo first hinted at the relationship back in September 2024, a few months after she and Finn were seen at Glastonbury together.
Speaking with British Vogue at this time, Florence shared that she was in the early stages of a new romance, and that she and her partner — who she did not name — were taking things slow and “figuring what [they] actually are.”
“I think in this portion of my life, I’m trying to make sure that I’m making all the right decisions so that I can have the thing that I want…which is safety, family, a home, and security,” she said. “And I think for the first time, I’m not allowing myself to go on a roller-coaster. I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.”
Finn hasn’t ever talked about his relationship with Florence, although he did hint towards the dating rumors in April 2025 when he posted some sweet pics from the London premiere of Thunderbolts.
Yesterday, he followed suit and hard-launched the relationship on his IG, too, sharing a gorgeous candid snap of Florence being photographed on a chaise lounge and a cute photo of them together.
Honestly, these two look like a perfect match. I love this. Flo, Finn, we’re rooting for you!
