I am currently watching Lost for the first time. I know, I’m a bit late to the game but better late than never. As new characters are introduced, I realize I have met a few people in the cast – most notably, Michelle Rodriguez. She walked the red carpet at the premiere of Machete in Austin in 2010.

Rodriguez isn’t the only celebrity we met that night. Following the premiere screening at the Paramount, there was a star studded party out at Austin Studios where Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios are located.
In addition to both Rodriguez’s, star Danny Trejo was there, as was Austin native Mehcad Brooks. I chatted with Jeff Fahey and Ken Leung, who I know joins the cast of Lost in later seasons.
But the best memory of the night is hanging out with a Spy Kid himself, Daryl Sabara. He was 18 at the time and didn’t know many people at the party so he hung with us for a portion of the night. Look how young he looks in these pictures! He’s such a great dude and I’m happy to see him thriving as an full grown adult.
