Dua Lipa was perhaps the most hyped artist to ever grace a marquee event at Wembley, and her fans came along for the ride—although some of the reactions went in some pretty weird directions. The pop superstar, full of energy, had posted a very flashy backstage shot with the caption, “LOVINGGGGG LIFEEEE!!! WEMBLEY NIGHT 1 TONIGHT!!! 🥲🥲🥲🥲❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” The picture showed her having a great time, dressed in black, with that effortless cool that is so synonymous with her.

The excitement seemed to be too much in the replies, as fellow fans zoomed in to give her all the love and support. “Good luck babe, have the time of your life 💖,” one wrote, while another longtime fan remarked, “SO excited to see u for the first time and with @darIingcarly 💜💜💜 and in a stadium!!! been a fan since 2016 🫶.” The buzz was infectious as many others echoed the sentiment that this would be the concert of a lifetime for Dua and her fans.

That was when things started turning weird, with some stray comments turning the atmosphere sour. One commented with a blunt tirade: “But explain me why Callum? 🤔”—basically trying to trash her relationship with Callum Turner. Then a second specimen went even further, proposing, “Leave him date a normal ie me,” which was basically them trying their crazy version of a shot.

Then came the almost random ticket pleas: “Dua, any chance of a ticket? 🙏,” went one hopeful; while another just went for it with, “@DUALIPA can i have a free ticket please im a huge fan.” It was a desperation that probably shouldn’t have gotten those two free passes backstage.

Some answers went completely berserk. One commenter also posted in another language: “Fumk symbol chupistu post chestav ente pichihuk daana,” which, even after translating, makes utter nonsense in context. Another third party had just randomly shouted, “Go to jail, leave the inbred drug addicted KKK,” which was… well… very much off-topic.

Meanwhile, the international folks were chiming in. A Persian-speaker commented, “In the midst of this misery, you still look more beautiful.” While a Portuguese-speaker also somehow did not hold back with, “pq tu ta andando com esse feio?” (“Why are you with that ugly guy?”) pretty much proving that internet users know no limits.

All those wild reactions aside, pure excitement was the general tone. Dua Lipa at Wembley is another milestone in her already exploding career—luster, mockery, or outright weirdness aside, everyone was tuned in.

One thing is sure as the night unfolds: big moments know how to put on a show for a live audience, both offline and online. And if those comments were the backdrop, her fan base is going to be as wild and unpredictable as her setlist. Dua continues to prove that her concerts are a must-see experience.
