Denise van Outen is set to surprise and delight fans this autumn with the release of her brand album ‘A Bit of Me’ — a collection of intimate interpretations of timeless songs, lovingly reimagined for a new chapter in her career.
Serving as the West End stars first full studio release in over two decades, following her 2003 theatre album ‘Tell Me on a Sunday’, each track on the LP has been transformed into a beautiful ballad, woven with elegant piano arrangements, warm harmonies, lush strings and soaring harps. The result is a soundscape that feels both classic and deeply personal.
Produced by Jamie Sellers — whose musical credits include Elton John, Ed Sheeran and Flo — the album draws on a rich palette of eternal favourites. Among the highlights are stunning renditions of ‘What Kind of Fool Am I’ and Billy Joel’s ‘New York State of Mind’, sitting alongside pop treasures like George Michael’s ‘A Different Corner’, Gloria Estefan’s ‘Anything for You’, and the ‘80s smash ‘The Harder I Try’ by Brother Beyond.
Adding her own voice to the collection, Denise has co-written a brand-new track with Sellers: the heartfelt title song, ‘A Bit of Me’. The record also features a special duet with close friend and Blue singer Duncan James on the classic ‘That’s What Friends Are For’.
A reflective and emotional journey, ‘A Bit of Me’ captures Denise’s unique performance style and her ability to tell a story through song. Elegant, nostalgic and heartfelt, it’s a record that feels like an open invitation into her world — one fans old and new are sure to embrace.

To support the records release Denise will hit the road next March with her brand-new solo show, An Evening with Denise Van Outen: Songs, Stories & All That Jazz — a dazzling mix of live music, behind-the-scenes tales, and unfiltered fun.
