The name of Demi Lovato just managed to stir more than the biggest social media game, and the spoils will be found faster than expected! Just chilling, almost casual, she posted the tease and wrote, “they said if this gets 100 likes i can release fast next week” with a few lines from the song. So, what? Well, absolute chaos ensued and actually in the best way possible.

The entire post went viral almost immediately, decorating the internet with almost 40k likes within mere hours (yes, the 100 likes mark was somewhat crushed in a grandma’s manner of talking). One said it best: “Almost 40K already I know that’s right 👏”. MTV poured more gasoline and added, “NEXT WEEK? i’m canceling my plans.” And that just keeps the hype rolling. Someone was so excited that they jokingly replied, “can we FASTforward to next week 😍😍” – pun intended!
But the spicy stuff started here. Some sharp-eyed fans noticed that the supposed release date might clash with another artist’s release, so a reply came: “so this means you’re really releasing it on the 1st? 😭” with responses about label scheduling politics. Tension! Drama! Big anticipation!
The overseas fans weren’t holding back. One in Portuguese said, when translated, “How can a song called FAST take so long to come out???”-all thoughts of sorrow. Another one declared dramatically, “I NEED TO SIT DOWN” – me too! The vibe was half excitement, half playful desperation: “We’re starving over here! Feed us!”.
Further down the line, the little tease worked well as a fan pointed out: “oh girl you knew you would pass those 100 easily 😉”. For sure. And the real winner is now any car somewhere blasting “Fast” next week. “Can’t wait to blast this in the car with the windows down 💃🏻✨”, said one.
On the basis of the lyrics, it will pretty much sound lit (“I wanna go fast, I wanna go hard”) and seeing the fan reaction so far, it’ll be on repeat. No official release date has been stated as yet but with such huge clamor, it better come out sooner rather than later-or as one fan cried out: “BORA LOGO MINHA QUERIDA 🔥”.
Whether it comes out on the 1st or is pushed to later next week is still up in the air, but one thing is already crystal clear-that fanbase is ready to stream, scream, and maybe cancel all plans-and honestly? Same.

In the meantime, fans can also check out Demi’s stunning moments captured in new wedding photos or the hype surrounding her collaborations with others, like Nyla Symone. Additionally, there has been recent discussion on a movie that highlights her pronouns in I Wish You All the Best and her significant birthday celebration in the company of her new lover Jute.
