Coldplay set the internet alight with a brief tweet thanking Hong Kong for an amazing show, with the next destination being Seoul. However, the other half of the announcement was almost what everyone was talking about. When fans recognized Wootteo, the cute little astronaut mascot associated with BTS member Jin, in one of the media posts, things went haywire. And the replies were crazy!

The band shared a pic that said: ‘Thank you Hong Kong- you were spectacular. Next stop- Seoul🚀,’ and in it, they had Wootteo-the cute little astronaut that became a symbol during Jin’s solo activities. The comment section exploded right after with theories, requests, and pure joy.
@umbrellaella23: “Wooteo is finally coming back home to his dad?” The ‘father’ joke has been made regarding Jin’s relationship with the character. Others, however, were a little more direct: @bangtanix7 told Coldplay, “Take Jin along with you.” The desperation was strong, as @BFLHSDI cried: “Please let Jin perform 😭💜👍👍;” and @jinakgay wanted to know: “will seokjin be there just say it already omfg.”
Not everyone was transfixed under Jin’s spell. @STWIWTGON forwarded this sob story, almost in tears, about being scammed for Wembley tickets and told everyone else to watch out. A stark reminder that not all concert experiences are sunshine and rainbows.
The speculation continued, with @yoongipoongiboo tweeting: “Wooteo… Jin special guest in Seoul… dots have been connected.” In contrast, @Paneska_LP bluntly called it a spoiler:”If this is not a spoiler, then I don’t know why is Wootteo there.”
Others were pure chaos, such as @lul4paradise, who screamed, “WOTTEO WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” while @Idrinkcoffee_7 demanded, “Where’s the father!???” The energy was unmatched; fans were ready for an invasion should this be Jin and Coldplay’s final appearance on another stage.
International fans weren’t missing either; @PazVida1313397 wrote to a French fan account: “Bello JIN 💋😍 maravilloso Coldplay 🫶.” The hype might just be global.
Coldplay has confirmed nothing so far, but the internet was already convinced—this is a sign. Jin’s appearance or otherwise in Seoul is yet to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: if he actually shows up, the internet might just break. If he doesn’t? I mean, that meltdown will be just as entertaining.
