Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s daughter, Luna, 9, ensured that her parents had the perfect date night at the “Rainbow Cafe”.
The 39-year-old mother shared a carousel of videos and images where Luna planned a special date night for the former Sports Illustrated model and EGOT-winner.
“She is everything I ever was as a little girl but ten million times better,” the mother-of-four captioned her post.
On the menu: fresh fruit, salad, Kraft macaroni and cheese, branzino and various dessert options.
Luna also enlisted the help of her 2-year-old brother Wren to bring out desserts to their parents. The ice cream cake with yellow cake and chocolate frosting looked like the perfect way to end a special meal.
Teigen shares four children with “All of Me” singer, John Legend. The couple are parents to sons Wren and Miles, and daughters Esti and Luna.
Recently, the Cravings cookbook author opened up, admitting that she is ready to have “the talk” with her eldest daughter. On her Audible podcast, Self Conscious with Chrissy Teigen, Teigen brought in Dr. Becky Kennedy, author of Good Inside, to discuss how to approach the subject. Teigen explained that this year, sex education will be part of Luna’s school curriculum, so she wants to prepare her at home.
“So, I bought all the books, I got everything for it. And leading up to it, we try to deal with so many things in the family with humor and openness, because it is such an uncomfortable thing to talk about,” Teigen said.
Dr. Becky recommended that Teigen should start the conversation by actually leaning into the awkwardness of the situation. “Naming your own awkwardness is really important.”
It’s clear that Luna is well on her way to young adulthood, and we’re loving every step of the journey. She’s quickly becoming a dynamic chef, just like her mom, and we’re here for it! Who knows? A future as a restaurateur might just be in her stars.
