Chrishell Stause opens up about adoption process with G Flip

Reality star Chrishell Stause has opened up about the difficult journey she and her partner, Aussie singer G Flip have been taking to start a family.

“It’s been a bumpy road,” Stause, 43 admitted to Us Weekly.

“We’ve kept the details a little under wraps, just because I don’t think it helps anybody to go into all the details,” she said.

“But I’ll just say to anyone that understands this [adoption] process – there are just a lot of different roadblocks, and so we do feel like we’re on the upswing.”

The Neighbours star doesn’t want to ”get ahead of myself”, but will make sure to be the first person to share the happy news when it occurs.

“Nobody will be happier to report good news than me when it’s that time. So, until then, I just really feel like everything happens for a reason,” she shared.

“Until then, I will just say: yeah, we’re trying, we’re being positive.”

The reality star secretly married the Aussie singer in May 2022 after one year of dating, with the two still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship, according to Stause.

She shared that with their busy schedules – with Stause appearing on The Traitors and Selling Sunset, and G-Flip writing their third album – it can be hard for the couple to express their love.

“So to constantly put the other one first and try to do the little things,” said Stause, “A lot of times it’s about the little things, you know? It’s not about these big grand gestures. It’s, to me, walking out and, like, they had my coffee in hand. That was just so sweet. And I just feel like that goes a long way.”
