Chris Klein served as a celebrity waiter at Derrick Johnson’s Defend the Dream charity event in Austin. Before things got started, we chatted with the actor, best known for his role in American Pie, about all things Texas. Here’s what went down.
Chris Klein Talks Texas At Derrick Johnson’s Defend The Dream Event
First off, in case you aren’t aware, Klein and his wife Laina have called the Austin area home since 2013. Though he originally hails from Illinois and Nebraska, Klein briefly attended TCU before making the move to acting full time.
Since he’s no stranger to Texas, we knew our Texas This or That quiz would be a breeze for him. What we didn’t expect were his thoughtful and lengthy answers, though it was a pleasant surprise. His accent was also quite a surprise. Here’s part one of our interview.
