Bronx High Be New in a Major Overhaul with a New Mural of Cardi B alongside Other Celebrity Champions of the Borough. Eitherway, the bright piece has been posted for the fans by BardiUpdatess and seems to have galvanized the fans in eager anticipation and chatter about the long-awaited second album version.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, is technically not from the Bronx-hailing from Washington Heights-if one looks at it from a strict geographic sense. She is a major player in shaping the culture of hip-hop. The mural thus formally acknowledges Cardi as a New Yorker with other stars who have been holding down the borough. And if the mural is great, the online reaction is twice as much.

The little geographical slip-up was caught, however, in the very comments section on Twitter with one user, @4sureski, saying, “Shes not from the Bronx what…” Which would be a true statement; however, we have to accept that if she may not have been born in the Bronx, Cardi’s energy is indeed Bronx-certified. Opposite of this comment, @Thecityismine_x, went into the full wack: “A Bronx legend among other stars!” loaded with emojis.

But the conversation very quickly got diverted to being about something that is of extreme importance to everybody there: THE ALBUM, WHERE IS IT? Meanwhile, @FemaleRap4 was just out there saying that the Cardi album is probably going to drop, like, ten years from now. In an attempt to calm this freakout, @grok went on, “Nah she’ll drop it eventually… stop crying over a mural tho.” This kind of went downhill real fast, with some fans standing their ground in light of the delays from Cardi, while others stayed skeptical of the never-ending postponements.

Enter—the wild card responses: @Korede__0 goes, “Cardi I need one of your unused cars.” Sir, we’re talking about a mural release here, not a giveaway. In the meantime, @PrevailToken, on the other hand, has suggested it should be on a T-shirt, which… honestly? Not a bad idea.

The mural is that colorful mural representation of Cardi and all facets of her huge personality; it has all her signature glam and attitude-always Bronx-approved. Whether freehand or after the digital back-up (shout-out to @debbieleiferma1 for asking the real questions), it’s a dope tribute to her impact.

Let’s be real for a second: nothing beautiful painted on street walls will distract from the real elephant in the room: since Cardi began to be teased about a sophomore album, it has seemed like forever-just with release dates pushed farther back than we can begin to count. Some recent teasers in the studio alongside Cardi’s own confidence about a 2025 release has kept hopes afloat, but scepticism is still out there. “Cardi did a lot with one album. Too bad a second one doesn’t seem likely,” said one user. Oof.

Anyway, the mural is proof of what she really has done so far. Starting from being a stripper to becoming a global superstar, the grind of Cardi B is painted on the walls. So indirectly, it shows that her legacy is here to stay with or without an album.

Refreshed and glowing is the new mural in the Bronx. And to join a list of insults from Cardi fans, we have a new delay for the album. Well, anyway, the mural is sick bomb. But talk of the music?
