Bresha Webb and her husband, Nick Jones Jr., recently celebrated a major milestone—their daughter Brave’s first birthday!
On March 21, Webb took to Instagram to share a beautiful photoshoot of her little one.
She captioned, “Our baby Brave is 1 today! My first year of motherhood down and forever to go. Thank you God for choosing me to be her mother. We are so in love with you,” she wrote, adding pink hearts and prayer emojis. “Happy Birthday, Brave!”
To celebrate Brave’s first year, Webb and Jones hosted a “Braverton” tea party in true high-fashion style.
“The ‘Braverton’ Tea Party was a success! Lady Whistledown would have been proud!” Webb wrote on social media, referencing Bridgerton. “We celebrated Brave’s birthday in high-fashion tea style and even gave her the most special blessing.”
The “special blessing’ came in the form of a christening. However, the day was not without its challenges, as Webb shared that her mother was hospitalized the night before but remained determined to attend.
“Please keep her in your prayers,” the Run the World star added.
Webb has been open about her journey to motherhood. In a 2024 interview with EBONY, she revealed that she had frozen her eggs five years prior, uncertain about whether she wanted children at the time.
“Then, I met my husband, and I thought, ‘Maybe motherhood is something I would want.’ And we became pregnant without having to use any of the eggs. I guess God had his own plan,” she shared.
As for the values she hopes to instill in Brave, Webb emphasized resilience, faith, and limitless possibilities.
“One, I want her to know that she is brave, like her name. I had a very hard pregnany, and she stayed strong, so I want her to know that she’s a fighter. I want her to know she can do it all. My faith in God, man, I have so much to impart to her so she can win no matter what.”
