Bethenny Frankel is speaking her truth as she defends the Bezos-Sanchez wedding. The actress-turned-entrepreneur took to Instagram to share her fiery sentiments about that couple and their road to glory, putting it in parallel with the path taken by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Silly, sarcastic Frankel had said that Sanchez “bagged the elephant,” and they are basically living their best life with no apologies.

In Frankel’s narrative, Sanchez is painted as the ultimate power player: “You know, she’s like a Megan Markle with no rules because Bezos, as one of the richest men in the world, really sets his own rules.” Following this, she insisted that Bezos and Sanchez were enjoying the socialite life and loving their fresh associations with the A-list and glitzy lifestyles. “They’re just having fun”; with a shrug: “To each their own.”

Nonetheless, not everyone on the comment board concurred with Frankel’s defense. One retorted quickly, “Just pay your fair share of taxes!!! And look after your employees. It’s that simple.” Another went along with #TaxTheRich, thus unleashing a furious debate on the subject of wealth inequality. “It’s not the hater aspect of a billionaire being taxed 1.1 % while so many of us are struggling,” argued one commenter, with another shooting back, “The rich pay the majority of the taxes for God’s sake.”

But things took a turn for the worse moments after the predicted demise of the couple in question hitting the airwaves: “I give it 3 years; they will be divorced,” a cynic declared and elicited sour comments such as “Who cares? She married a billionaire and you didn’t.” Other pundits questioned Sanchez’ motive, while another swore, “If he had zero dollars she wouldn’t give Jeff B the TIME OF DAYYYYYY.” But certainly, not everyone was cynical: “I love to see it honestly; they both look happy,” said another, sparking yet another debate over Bezos’ political standing and former transgressions.

The mention of cheating accusations was not something Frankel merely tiptoed around; instead, she implied that maybe when Bezos ended, he was hoping to begin again. “He’s in his 50s, he wanted to still live.” Sanchez had, in a way much like Meghan Markle, her moment later in life with a high-profile relationship. “It’s never too late to have your chapter,” she related with conviction before ending her tirade on a high note: “Lauren Sanchez is the Frank Sinatra of women in their 50s- she did it her way, and they’re married now, so everyone shut the fck up.”

Is the Bezos and Sanchez alliance worth a debate: money? Loyalty? An honest-to-goodness case of envy? Judging by the statement from Frankel, the couple doesn’t seem to care much about the negativity.
