If you didn’t know, Benny has sadly found himself at the center of online discourse about his appearance multiple times since he and Selena got together. Comedian Nikki Glaser even weighed in on the jokes at this year’s Golden Globes, quipping, “Selena Gomez is here, double nominee tonight! And she’s here tonight with her new fiancé, Benny Blanco, and Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish.” (She did get permission from him to make the joke!)
Benny has even addressed all the talk about his looks before, joking on the Whiskey Ginger podcast last year: “I believe that I’m actually so ugly and my features are like, so grotesque that I like, popped out the other side and now I’m just like, a hot guy.”
