Cruz Beckham has publicly laid bare the pain surrounding his eldest brother, Brooklyn Beckham’s, estrangement.
The wider Beckham family put on a united front in London this week in support of the aspiring musician’s sold-out UK tour – but it wasn’t all smiles as Cruz, 21, made an urgent plea to his sibling through song.
Appearing before a packed crowd at Hoxton’s Courtyard Theatre, the young musician was visibly emotional, tearing up as he performed what is believed to be a direct message to his estranged brother.

The song in question, titled Loneliest Boy, features lyrics that seem to point directly at the growing rift between Brooklyn, 27, and the rest of the Beckham clan.
Cruz seemed to particularly struggle during the song’s chorus, wiping tears away with his sleeve as he sang the lyrics “loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, it’s breaking her heart.”
This moving display prompted His The Breakers bandmate Dan Ewins to step in, ruffling Cruz’s hair and draping an arm around his shoulders in quiet solidarity as he finished the set.
Fans have since become convinced that the song is a direct reference to the distance between Brooklyn and his famous family.

The song also features the telling line “it shows in the small things that you don’t do, I guess in the end that it’s you, yourself, and you. Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?”
“Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him, To find something bad in somebody good, he always does, Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening, Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”
Emotions also appeared to be running high for the Beckhams during the performance too, with Romeo Beckham, 23, reportedly also seen wiping away tears as he watched his little brother sing.

Earlier this month, older brother Brooklyn dealt yet another blow to his parents David and Victory, failing to mention the latter on Mother’s Day – while praising mother-in-law Claudia Heffner Peltz on social media.
This move comes after attempts at reconnection from the family on Brooklyn’s birthday fell on deaf ears.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, a source claimed that Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham were both “disheartened” that they chose to make public Instagram posts for the occasion.
“These are the exact type of performative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.”
“Last summer they issued a legal letter to his parents requesting that any correspondence go through lawyers.”
