As with millions of women other time before her, Ariana is also being faced with the age-old beauty question. With the reality television persona and the daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Ariana took to Instagram this week to ask her supporters a very important question: “What should I do with my hair??” In this longish video, shot seemingly from her home, all the various options were laid out for viewers just before her appointment with the famed stylist Chrissy @hairby_chrissy. Suffice it to say, she really is torn.

“I’m the most indecisive person in the world,” she laughed at herself in the clip. “I want to do black, red, blonde. I want to do everything with my hair.” She went on to virtually thumb through a mental-and visual-rolodex of styles she has worn, ranging from her “iconic chocolate brown” she called, to the blonde-fronted one where jokingly she describes as if saying, “I’m going to eat your face off.” Then there is a nearly pitch black shade, ashy dimensional browns, and two or three ideas of her sister’s color for reference. She’s all over the place, y’all. And seriously? That’s a mood.
“I get very bored without any dimension,” she goes on, “I need a little bit more.” With weighing the change of seasons, “With fall coming, is it time to go darker? Or just carry the summer blonde a bit longer?” She even wonders aloud about her experience with Botox for teeth grinding, which-random-but relatable for anyone who’s ever gone down a cosmetic treatment rabbit hole mid-thought.
She ends her video with an earnest appeal: “Please let me know. I am open to anything.” However, the followers did not stay fundamentally quiet.
The comments went from that to a full-scale focus group; hundreds of fans passionately rallied for their favorite looks. Most seemed to rally behind the rich deep chocolate brown shade. “Chocolate plzzzz dark makes your eyes stand out in the best way,” one enthusiast stated, with another chiming in, “Chocolate brings the fall vibes.” Several directed comments to how the darker colors bring out her natural eye color, something Ariana might not have really thought for herself.
But the conversation did not stop at one note; many insisted on a blended, dimensional color. “Chocolate with some honey pieces!!” one suggested, while another was all for “ashy brown with blonde pieces.” Someone else threw out a suggestion for auburn for autumn-a strange idea that might just be fabulous.
Alongside those in support, there are the staunch supporters who showered her with encouragement and life tips. “You are so down to earth and humble! I’m in love with your vibe!” gushes one admirer, clearly touched by Ariana’s open and casual way of asking for input. Then, another chimed in with a deeply sweet and super long comment: “While you look beautiful with every hair color I do think that the dark dark brown is really stunning on you… you are just truly gorgeous young lady both inside and out.” I mean. How do you even choose after reading something like that??
One comment made her way into some more unexpected territory. “Do something different and cut your hair shoulder length,” stated one geek glimmer suggestion. Another one simply said: Natural. Like nothing done.” Which, fair, but also… this is Ariana Biermann we’re talking about. “Natural” is relative.
One of the funniest—and kinda shady—comments came from a user who pointed out, “Every nail clack is straight to her mom.” For those who don’t know, Ariana’s mother Kim is known for her long, dramatic nails and bold persona. The comment was a playful nod to the family’s iconic reality TV vibe, and honestly, it’s not wrong.
Some of the fans don’t care about what color it will be turned out to be; they just want content. “Have @hairby_chrissy surprise you 😍 but film the entire process,” begged one. Which, same. We all want the reveal video now.
Since before time, Ariana has been in the spotlight thanks to Don’t Be Tardy. Yet her openness about beauty procedures, personal style, and indecision feels so real. She’s not pretending to have all the answers. She’s just another young woman who truly doesn’t know what hair color to go for and is throwing out the question to her community. And the community came THROUGH.
In the end, whether she goes dark chocolate, ash blonde, or something else entirely, one thing is for sure: The fans are all in, invested.
