Ari Fletcher and Taina Williams are serving honesty and growth in the latest episode of Dinner With the Don, and fans are here for the tea!
The two moms, who share children with rapper G Herbo, sat down for an open conversation about co-parenting, clearing up old rumors, and focusing on what matters most: their kids.
“Tonight’s episode of Dinner With the Don is EVERYTHING y’all been waiting for!” Ari teased on Youtube ahead of the show. “We talked about postpartum depression, cleared up whether Taina ever put her hands on Yosohn (y’all love the tea), and broke down how we’re navigating baby mama drama to focus on a healthier vibe for the kids.”
The sit-down touched on everything from lingering rumors to their shared experiences as mothers.
Clearing the Air
One of the most controversial topics the two addressed was a long-standing rumor that Taina had harmed Ari’s son, Yosohn. Setting the record straight, Ari revealed the incident was a misunderstanding. “When my son came home with a mark, it caused confusion,” she shared, adding that it spiraled into a bigger story than intended.
Taina directly addressed the allegations, saying, “I did not touch her son.” She added, “Why would I do anything to harm my man’s son?”
Talking Motherhood
The two women also opened up about their personal journeys as moms and their thoughts on growing their families. When asked if she wanted more kids, Taina explained she’s open to the idea but not rushing into it. “Not right now but possibly in the future maybe, maybe when I get married I’ll have more kids,” she shared.
For now, Taina is content with her two children, Essex and Emmy. “Yeah, like if my husband wants a kid, yeah, then I’ll be like alright. Yeah, I’m not like not open to it but I don’t want more kids ’cause I have a boy and a girl. I feel like that’s perfect.”
Ari also shared her thoughts on expanding her own family. “Lately I have been thinking like maybe I should just have another kid,” she shared, before acknowledging the challenges. “I be busy, I be traveling, and then it’s like, um, like kids is cool and all but like then it’s like a reset.”
Proud Moms
As the conversation turned to their children, it was clear that both Ari and Taina were proud of their little ones. Ari talked about how Yosohn is “advanced” for his age and Ari joked about her daughter’s sassy personality, saying, “She was in here twerking.”
“She ain’t get that from me, she got that from her mama.” Ari laughed.
Taina also shared that her son Essex, who was named after G Herbo’s block, is a sweet boy with a fiery side. “He’ll [expletive] you up though,” Taina laughed, describing his Gemini personality—one that balances wild energy with loving sweetness.
The topic of naming children also came up, with Taina reflecting on the unique name Essex. “Everybody always asks me this,” she said, explaining that G Herbo chose the name to represent his block, while Taina saw it as regal, like “Lord Essex.” “I just felt like it sounded so like royal,” she added, revealing that Essex’s middle name, William, is a tribute to the many men in her life with that name.
In the end, Ari and Taina have come allong way and seem to be on a better path for the sake pf their kids.
