NRL star Angus Crichton and wife Chloe Crichton nee Esegbona have announced the arrival of their first child.
The Sydney Roosters player shared the news on Instagram, revealing their son was born on Easter Sunday along with some gorgeous family snaps.
In the announcement post the couple also revealed the little bub’s name.
“Our little man Sullivan Hugh Crichton arrived at 5:05am on Easter Sunday 05/04/2026 3.819kg/8.419lbs 53cm,” he captioned the post.
“You are so perfect and we couldn’t love you more if we tried.
“Bub is healthy and mum is a soldier. We are blessed beyond measure to be your parents, thank you son for making us a family.”
In one of the snaps proud mum and dad cuddled their bub in the hospital bed, flashing smiles at the camera.

The post has been flooded with congratulatory messages and plenty of love from friends and footy stars.
“Blessings uso,” replied Sonny Bill Williams.
Penrith Panthers co-captain Nathan Cleary commented, “Congrats guys!! ❤️❤️❤️”.
“Congrats fam🥹🥹🐣,” replied the official Sydney Roosters Instagram account.
South Sydney’s Cam Murray added, “Congrats guys so good ❤️.”
Reece Walsh wrote, “Bless congrats fam ❤️.”
The news that the couple were pregnant came just months after they tied the knot.
The NRL player and physiotherapist got married in May 2025, in stunning a ceremony at Krinklewood Estate Winery in New South Wales.
In an interview with Vogue Australia about their wedding day, she admitted that finding the perfect dress was more difficult than she expected it to be.
Initially Chloe tried on pretty much everything, because she didn’t know what she wanted.
“I actually loved most of the gowns that I tried on, which is what made it more confusing. They were all so different but equally beautiful,” she said.
Chloe went with a Zinnia Bridal gown and added some additions to make it her dream dress.
“There is a time and place for ‘simple and chic’, and I can see why I went there initially,” she said.
“But I’m so glad I went ‘big and bold’ in the end.”

The footy player announced their engagement in December 2024, after he popped the question in Manchester, UK.
“Can not wait to make you my wife @chloe_esegbona,” he sweetly wrote to Instagram.
