    -

Rising British boy band Absnt Mind further cement their status as one of pops most exciting new acts today (February 7th) with the release of their latest single ‘Special’ – a super melodic, and rousing anthem produced by Mark Schick (Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, Dermot Kennedy).

Co-written by the lads, alongside JC Stewart and Sara Boe at Peter Gabriel’s legendary Real World Studios, the heartfelt pop bop successfully manages to capture the uber talented quintets knack for writing super relatable, introspective lyrics, that spark a sense of understanding amongst their ever growing army of loyal, and devoted fans, as they use the uplifting track to explore themes of “self-discovery, connection, and the fleeting moments that make life extraordinary”.

“This was one of the first songs that we wrote together on our first writing camp trip in early 2024 and we are so excited for everyone to finally hear it,” the group say in a joint statement ahead of the singles release. “We knew it was an absolute bop from day one. It’s taken a minute to perfect it and it’s one we are very proud of.”

The tracks official music video, directed by Ramzey Sabbagh, is set to premiere at 5pm BST today, and is said to showcase the five boys’ “connection and friendship” with each other, as they prepare to take flight as a group.
