Mattel and Bucket Listers are bringing a new pop-up to Austin and it looks like it’s going to be like, totally awesome. The Malibu Barbie Cafe is coming to Austin after sold-out runs across the country. And it’s coming to us from the team behind Saved by the Max, The Golden Girls Kitchen, Family Guy Experience, and the Blockbuster experience so you know it’s going to be good!
What To Expect at Malibu Barbie Cafe
Opening April 4, the Malibu Barbie Cafe will allow guests to experience the ultimate form of Barbiecore™ dining alongside a pinktastically groovy roller rink. You can expect a creative food menu that also includes delicious desserts and a variety of drinks. The pop-up will also feature exclusive merchandise and a variety of interactive activities around the rink.
Tickets for the restaurant go on sale February 17. The $25 tickets include food + merch credit. Additionally, each roller skate rental ($1) will be donated back to the Cafe’s charity partner, Girls INC.
There will also be special events at the pop-up like cupcake decorating classes, paint parties, and 21+ skate nights.
The Malibu Barbie Cafe will be located at Wanderlust Wine Company at 610 North Interstate Highway 35.
