Stocks to Watch Today, Wednesday, January 28, 2026: Indian benchmark indices ended on a mixed note on Tuesday. The Nifty advanced on strong buying in financials, IT and metal stocks, while weakness in auto and FMCG shares capped gains for the Sensex. The Nifty climbed 126.75 points, or 0.51%, to close at 25,175.40. The BSE Sensex rose 319.78 points, or 0.39%, to settle at 81,857.48.

A host of companies are scheduled to announce their December-quarter earnings today, including: NSDL, Larsen & Toubro, Maruti Suzuki India, Bharat Electronics, SBI Life Insurance, TVS Motor Company, Lodha Developers, SBI Cards & Payment Services, Phoenix Mills, M&M Financial Services, Balkrishna Industries, Cochin Shipyard, ACC, Gland Pharma, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers, TVS Holdings, Pine Labs, Star Health, Piramal Pharma, LT Foods, Birlasoft, Prudent Corporate Advisory Services, CSB Bank, ASK Automotive, Park Medi World, Arvind Fashions, ICRA, MAS Financial Services and Samhi Hotels.

Vodafone Idea
The telecom operator narrowed its consolidated net loss to Rs 5,286 crore in Q3FY26 from Rs 6,609 crore a year ago. Revenue rose 1.85% YoY to Rs 11,323 crore.
Tata Consumer Products
The FMCG major posted a 36.4% YoY jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 384.52 crore, driven by volume growth in India. Revenue increased 15.04% to Rs 5,112 crore.
PC Jeweller
Reported a 28% YoY rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 190.10 crore. Total income climbed to Rs 900.51 crore from Rs 683.44 crore.
Marico
Consolidated net profit grew 12.03% YoY to Rs 447 crore. On a sequential basis, profit rose 6.43%.
Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL)
Reported its highest-ever operating PAT at Rs 611 crore, up 16% YoY. Total PAT stood at Rs 721 crore, up 58% YoY. The board declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share.
Vishal Mega Mart
Net profit rose 19.1% YoY to Rs 312.9 crore, while revenue increased 17% to Rs 3,670 crore.
Vedanta
Approved the sale of up to 6.7 crore shares (1.59% stake) in Hindustan Zinc via an offer for sale.
LIC
Subscribed to 5.12 lakh debentures of Rs 1,00,000 each, aggregating Rs 5,120 crore, issued by Bajaj Finance.
ONGC
Through JV firms with Japanās MOL, signed shipbuilding contracts with Samsung Heavy Industries for two Very Large Ethane Carriers.
Infosys
