Stocks to Watch Today, Wednesday, December 10, 2025: Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty50 are likely to open weak on Wednesday amid mixed global cues and ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision.
Around 7:00 AM, GIFT Nifty futures were down 52.7 points at 25,907.5, indicating a soft start for domestic markets.
Across Asia-Pacific, markets traded mostly higher as investors awaited China’s inflation data and the Fed’s final rate decision of the year. Markets expect the US central bank to deliver another 25-basis-point rate cut, following reductions in September and October.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.2%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 gained 0.82%, the Topix added 0.65%, and South Korea’s Kospi was up 0.22%.
IndiGo
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has directed IndiGo to cut 10% of its planned flights after the airline cancelled over 2,000 flights last week due to pilot roster mismanagement. This follows the DGCA’s earlier directive on Tuesday asking the airline to reduce operations by 5%.
Ola Electric
Ola remains the only battery production-linked incentive (PLI) beneficiary with operational capacity so far, Union Heavy Industries Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy informed the Lok Sabha. Ola currently has 1 GWh of battery manufacturing capacity under the scheme.
JSW Energy
GQG Partners, backed by Rajiv Jain, sold over 1.52 crore shares of JSW Energy via a block deal worth nearly Rs 677 crore. The shares were sold at Rs 444 each, a 2% discount to Monday’s closing price of Rs 453.60. As of September 30, 2025, GQG held 3.12 crore shares, representing 1.79% stake in the company.
Nalco
The Board approved awarding the MDO Contract for the development and operation of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines and associated facilities to Dilip Buildcon, the L1 bidder. The base mining charge is Rs 423 per ton for a 25-year period.
Highway Infrastructure
The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) worth Rs 328.8 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to operate the Kaza Fee Plaza in Andhra Pradesh. The LOA was issued on December 9.
Zydus Lifesciences
Its UAE subsidiary, Zydus Lifesciences Global FZE, has partnered with Formycon AG to exclusively license and supply FYB206, a biosimilar of Keytruda (Pembrolizumab), for the US and Canadian markets.
Swiggy
Swiggy opened its QIP on December 9 at a floor price of Rs 390.51 per share. This follows approvals from the Board (November 7) and shareholders (December 8) to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore.
Godrej Industries
Creamline Dairy Products, a subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet, signed an MoU with the Telangana government to invest Rs 150 crore in a new dairy processing facility spread across 40 acres. This takes the Godrej Group’s total planned investments in Telangana to over Rs 10,000 crore.
IRB Infrastructure Developers
IRB reported a 15.8% YoY increase in gross toll collections for November at Rs 716.1 crore, up from Rs 618.5 crore last year.
GPT Infraprojects
The company has been declared L1 for a Rs 199.17 crore project from North Eastern Railway, Uttar Pradesh, for constructing a bridge substructure.
Tata Power
Tata Power has commissioned the 400 kV Koteshwar–Rishikesh transmission line, enabling evacuation of 1,000 MW of hydropower from the Tehri–Koteshwar complex in Uttarakhand to northern states and Union Territories.
