Stocks to Watch Today, Friday, November 21, 2025: Equity markets closed higher on Wednesday, with the Sensex and Nifty50 extending gains and inching closer to their record highs last seen in September 2024. Strong buying in Financials and Oil & Gas, along with firm global cues, supported the uptrend. Analysts expect the market momentum to continue, with the Nifty likely to attempt a fresh all-time high and potentially move toward the 26,500 mark.
A number of stocks will be in focus today due to key announcements and corporate developments, including TCS, Groww, RIL, PVR Inox, and JSW Energy.
Groww
Groww will report its Q2 earnings today — its first financial results since listing earlier this month. The stock has been highly volatile, surging nearly 94% in the first few sessions before correcting more than 18%. Investors will closely track the results and management commentary for cues on near-term outlook.
PVR Inox
PVR Inox plans to add 100 screens this fiscal, though 10–15 underperforming screens may be shut after evaluation, Executive Director Sanjeev Kumar Bijli said. While 60% of new screens will come from major markets, the multiplex chain is also expanding into smaller cities with affordable ticket pricing of ₹150–200.
JSW Energy
JSW Energy has secured approval from creditors of Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure for its acquisition proposal under the insolvency process. Earlier this year, the company acquired KSK Mahanadi Power Company (3,600 MW) for ₹16,084 crore via IBC.
Ashok Leyland
Ashok Leyland is preparing to expand its diesel truck portfolio as it remains optimistic about industry demand for the rest of the fiscal, MD & CEO Shenu Agarwal said. The company is also strengthening R&D capabilities to accelerate product development and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
Reliance Industries (RIL)
RIL has stopped importing Russian crude oil into its SEZ refinery in Jamnagar, effective November 20.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)
TCS has signed a Securities Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement with TPG Terabyte and its subsidiary HyperVault AI Data Center Limited for a strategic investment in HyperVault.
Nestlé India
The board has approved the appointment of Mandeep Chhatwal as Additional Director (Non-Executive), effective January 1, 2026, subject to shareholder nod.
Hyundai Motor India
Hyundai has invested an additional ₹21.46 crore as the second tranche in FPEL TN Wind Farm Pvt. Ltd., taking its stake to 26.49%. The total investment now stands at ₹38.05 crore.
Adani Ports and SEZ
CRISIL Ratings has reaffirmed Adani Ports’ ratings at CRISIL AAA/Stable for bank facilities and NCDs, and CRISIL A1+ for commercial paper.
