Princess Kate received praise for her meaningful decision in a new video message.
For the unversed, the Princess of Wales recently revealed that she finds nature healing and spiritual, especially after her battle with cancer.
A few days ago, Kensington Palace released a video from Catherine’s visit to the Lake District in the U.K. with a young group of Scouts.
The mother-of-three, who is the president of the project, shared a note alongside her video which reads, “Spending time in the natural world provides a sense of balance and belonging.”
“For young people, access to nature is so important for helping to build confidence, self-belief, life skills, and a sense of perspective. That is why organisations like @scouts are so important,” she added.
Notably, the future Queen ditched wearing her special £390,000 engagement ring, which once belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.
Instead, Kate Middleton was seen with an eternity ring stack during her new appearance which is “likely a thoughtful and symbolic” gesture according to Ella Citron-Thompkins, a jewellery expert.
As per Hello! Magazine, she said, “The video focuses on the importance of nature, mental well-being, and emotional grounding; her ring is a highly recognisable piece, so she may strategically want audiences to connect with the messaging rather than herself.”
The expert revealed that the Princess of Wales intentionally avoided wearing the iconic ring given to her by Prince William in order to draw attention to her project.
“Health challenges often bring a deeper appreciation for comfort and symbolism, especially in the pieces we choose to wear, so it’s understandable and admirable as to why she may opt for a more ‘low key’ approach to casual appearances,” Ella stated.
