Amber Heard has stepped away from the spotlight since her high-profile court case against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
She moved to Spain from the US in 2022 and lived a private life with her family. So, it’s rare when she gives a glimpse of her family life.
The occasion was Thanksgiving. Her holiday photos show the Aquaman actress’s table, where food is ready for the celebration.
In the snaps, Amber’s father, David Heard, is also present, as is her child, Oonagh. For the caption, she writes, “Thanksgiving cheers over the years. A look back at all the full hearts and plates I’ve shared. Hoping you are well topped up on both this year.”
It is worth noting that the star welcomed her kid via surrogacy in 2021. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child,” she said at the time.
“I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
“A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”
But Oonagh is not only the kid Amber welcomed through surrogacy. Her other two children, twins Ocean and Agnes, were also born via the same process last May.
