What Is Neysa? The investment banking giant Blackstone has announced to infuse capital of over 1 billion dollars via equity and debt in the Indian AI cloud startup Neysa. This marks a big win for India, which is looking to build the AI momentum and create a robust infrastructure in the AI ecosystem.
“Blackstone and co-investors have provided equity capital of up to $600 million, on the basis of which Neysa intends to secure an additional $600 million of debt financing, subject to documentation,” as said in the press release.
Other equity investors in this transaction to include Teachers’ Venture Growth, TVS Capital, 360 ONE Assets, and Nexus Venture Partners.
This funding provides a material impetus to Neysa’s planned scale-up and deployment of over 20,000 GPUs in India, helping to enable the country’s AI revolution.
