Stocks to Watch on Friday, March 6, 2026: Indian equities are likely to open lower on Friday as escalating tensions in West Asia continue to dampen investor sentiment.
The early indicator of market performance, GIFT Nifty, was trading 185 points lower at 24,613 as of 7:45 AM, signalling a potential gap-down start for benchmark indices.
OMCs
Shares of oil marketing companies (OMCs) could remain in focus after the United States issued a general licence allowing limited Russian oil sales to India amid tightening global supply due to the West Asia conflict. The licence is valid until April 4, 12:01 a.m. Washington time.
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited to jointly develop and promote indigenous advanced naval systems, unmanned platforms and maritime capabilities for domestic and global markets.
Petronet LNG
The firm received a force majeure notice from QatarEnergy and issued corresponding notices to offtakers GAIL (India) Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
SAMHI Hotels

The company said the US Food and Drug Administration issued an Establishment Inspection Report for its Srikakulam facility, classifying the inspection as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) and officially closing the review.

The company invested Rs 147.45 crore in its joint venture Allianz Jio Reinsurance Ltd, subscribing to 14.75 crore equity shares at par value.
Bajaj Auto
KTM AG has fully repaid its €450 million secured term loan to Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Auto, leading to the termination of the facility agreement.
Tata Consultancy Services
The IT major said it is in advanced discussions to establish additional AI data centres in India, following its partnership with OpenAI to develop facilities with capacities ranging from 100 MW to 1 GW.
SBI Cards and Payment Services
The company announced an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share for FY26 and set March 11, 2026 as the record date for determining eligible shareholders.
