    Stocks To Watch On August 28, 2025: Indian equity markets traded under pressure on Tuesday, slipping below crucial support levels and breaking the recent recovery momentum. In today’s session, several stocks, including Eternal, Tata Steel, IndiGo, United Breweries, and Zaggle, are likely to remain in focus on the back of key corporate developments.

    IndiGo

    InterGlobe Aviation’s co-founder Rakesh Gangwal and the Chinkerpoo Family Trust are set to offload a 3.1% stake in IndiGo through a Rs 7,027 crore block deal at a 4% discount. The promoters have agreed to a 150-day lock-up period, as Gangwal continues his phased exit from the airline.

    Rail Vikas Nigam

    Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has entered into a joint venture with Texmaco Rail & Engineering to execute railway and related infrastructure projects. Under the arrangement, RVNL will hold 51% stake, while Texmaco will own 49%.

    Tata Steel

    Tata Steel has invested Rs 3,100 crore to acquire shares in its Singapore-based subsidiary T Steel Holdings Pte Ltd.

    Dr Reddy’s Laboratories

    The pharma company has obtained an interim stay from the Telangana High Court against the income tax reassessment linked to its merger with DRHL.

    Zaggle Prepaid

    Zaggle Prepaid has signed an agreement with Standard Chartered Bank, the company informed exchanges.

    United Breweries

    United Breweries will invest Rs 90 crore to set up a new canning line at Nizam Brewery, Telangana, adding 0.4 mhl of capacity to meet growing demand for Kingfisher and Heineken.

    Oil India

    Oil India and BPCL have formed a joint venture to develop a gas distribution network in Arunachal Pradesh, including CNG stations and PNG supply to households, commercial, and industrial users.

    Biocon

    Biocon Pharma, a wholly owned subsidiary of Biocon, has received tentative USFDA approval for Sitagliptin tablets in 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg doses.

    Power Grid

    Power Grid Corporation has been awarded a project to set up an inter-state transmission system in Karnataka.

    BSE

    Subsidiaries BSE Investments and BSE Administration & Supervision have secured board approval to proceed with their merger with BSE Technologies.

    BNP Paribas executed multiple trades in Eternal shares, emerging as the net buyer of over 10 crore shares worth Rs 3,220 crore.

    J&K Bank

    The bank’s board has approved the appointment of S Krishnan as non-executive chairman until March 26.

    Bharti Airtel announced special relief measures for users in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, where extreme weather and heavy rains have disrupted telecom services.
