Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani has issued a heartfelt statement expressing profound grief over the tragic Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad yesterday.
In a message released today, Ambani, speaking on behalf of himself, his wife Nita Ambani, and the entire Reliance family, conveyed deep sorrow and solidarity with those affected by the tragedy.
“Nita and I along with the entire Reliance family are deeply pained and anguished by the grave loss of life caused by the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad,” he said. “We extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this tragic incident.”
He further assured the public of Reliance’s “full and unwavering support” to all ongoing relief efforts, and emphasised the conglomerate’s readiness to assist the authorities and impacted families in “every possible way.”

While the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, initial reports suggest severe technical failure shortly after takeoff. Emergency response teams and local authorities have been actively engaged in rescue and recovery operations.
